FAQsWhat is Potato Hill Poetry?
For the past 10 years, Mr. Green has been conducting writing, portfolio, and poetry workshops for teachers and students in schools around the country. Potato Hill Poetry seeks to celebrate the mystery of language, and create a vehicle for further discussion and exploration of poetry and poetic forms. Ultimately, it hopes to promote the sometimes far-fetched notion that poetry belongs to us all. How can I register for a workshop?
If writing to us, please include your school address and phone number; your home address and phone number; the grade(s) you teach; your position (teacher, librarian, reading specialist, etc.); your email address; and how you heard about the workshop. Please also include payment information such as a check, credit card information, purchase order and billing address. We send out confirmations via email. If you would like to receive a confirmation, please be sure to include your email address. How can I register for a workshop using a school purchase order?
In order to process a purchase order registration, we need to know the purchase order number, the billing address of the district or school that is responsible for payment, and any special instructions that are required by the district, such as duplicate or triplicate invoices. You should feel free to call us with this information, or you can simply fax us a copy of your purchase order form. What are the beginning and ending times for the workshops?
What should I do if I have to cancel my registration?
Can I send a substitute in my place to the workshop?
If the weather is stormy, will the workshop be cancelled?
How do I bring this workshop to my school?
How do I pay for a workshop with personal funds?
Do you offer group discounts?
